Site touristique fr\u00e9quent\u00e9, Grand site de Midi-Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es, elle est une \u00e9tape du p\u00e8lerinage de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.<br \/>\nCe village a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu de faucons sculpt\u00e9s sur la fa\u00e7ade.<br \/>\n\u2022 La maison du Grand Veneur doit son nom \u00e0 la frise de chasse sculpt\u00e9e au niveau du second \u00e9tage.<br \/>\n\u2022 La maison du Grand Ecuyer tire son nom de la t\u00eate de cheval \u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 de la fa\u00e7ade<br \/>\n\u2022 Ainsi que d\u2019autres palais gothiques prot\u00e9g\u00e9s par le syst\u00e8me m\u00eame de la bastide. Au commencement se trouve un \u00e9difice du XIIIe si\u00e8cle, dont subsiste encore le chevet. Mais dans une ville importante tant militairement que commercialement, l&rsquo;\u00e9difice fait l&rsquo;objet de deux grandes campagnes d&#8217;embellissement, l&rsquo;une au XIVe si\u00e8cle, qui touche la nef et le clocher, la seconde au XVe si\u00e8cle, touchant \u00e0 nouveau la nef. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces transformations, l&rsquo;\u00e9difice est aussi un bel exemple de l&rsquo;\u00e9volution du gothique m\u00e9ridional.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ff00;\"><em><strong>Voir
