A travers les ruelles tortueuses, les places et placettes, on d\u00e9couvre le riche pass\u00e9 du bourg.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La Pile Romaine&nbsp; :&nbsp; l<\/strong>a l\u00e9gende populaire veut qu&rsquo;un pont dit Romain, ait \u00e9t\u00e9 emport\u00e9 par une grande crue. Le maire de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque opposa un refus cat\u00e9gorique quant \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9dification d&rsquo;un nouvel ouvrage. D\u00e8s lors des passeurs permettaient l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s aux deux rives. de la Serre (ou aussi dit ruisseau de Lundanne). Jusqu&rsquo;en 1954, le moulin procura une farine de qualit\u00e9 et de l&rsquo;huile de noix fabriqu\u00e9es par le dernier meunier M. Raynal. Il \u00e9tait \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 pour la confection du tanin obtenue \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;\u00e9corces de ch\u00eanes ou de ch\u00e2taigniers \u00e9cras\u00e9es. Rachet\u00e9 en 1980, il fut patiemment restaur\u00e9 par son propri\u00e9taire actuel, M. Alexandre. Sa roue verticale, (l&rsquo;une des rares en Aveyron), continue \u00e0 rythmer la vie du village.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Voir les photos \u00c9curie qui d\u00e9pendait du ch\u00e2teau primitif tomb\u00e9 en ruines au XIV s. Cette construction fut la r\u00e9sidence d&rsquo;une illustre famille rouergate, les Curi\u00e8res de Castelnau. Sur le linteau de l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e principale, apparaissent leurs armoiries. Elles repr\u00e9sentent un l\u00e9vrier courant surmont\u00e9 de la couronne de marquis et illustrent la devise des Curi\u00e8res \u00ab\u00a0semper post gloria currens\u00a0\u00bb (courant toujours apr\u00e8s la gloire).<\/p>\n<p>La fa\u00e7ade Nord donne sur la place de l&rsquo;Hom, ou la place du poteau, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 jadis la justice \u00e9tait rendue. Cette fa\u00e7ade est perc\u00e9e de fen\u00eatres, \u00e0 meneaux et croisillons, orn\u00e9es de petites figurines. La fa\u00e7ade Sud \u00e0 laquelle on acc\u00e8de par un porche vo\u00fbt\u00e9, exhibe une haute tour qui abrite un escalier \u00e0 vis desservant les diff\u00e9rents \u00e9tages.<\/p>\n<p>Cet romane fortifi\u00e9e Ste Eulalie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Une premi\u00e8re \u00e9glise fut \u00e9rig\u00e9e au centre du village, sur un promontoire qui domine le Lot. Sans doute trop v\u00e9tuste, elle fut reconstruite au XI s. et fortifi\u00e9e d\u00e8s le XII s.&nbsp; Au cours des travaux de restauration en 1972, on d\u00e9couvrit une pierre d&rsquo;autel dite de Deusdedit (X ou d\u00e9but XI s.).&nbsp;&nbsp; Cet \u00e9difice, rappelle par son plan et surtout son d\u00e9ambulatoire et ses absides orient\u00e9es, la fameuse abbatiale de Conques.&nbsp; En 1524, Fran\u00e7ois d&rsquo;Estaing, alors \u00c9v\u00eaque de Rodez, demanda son agrandissement pour accueillir tous les paroissiens. Les derni\u00e8res trav\u00e9es furent achev\u00e9es en 1530 sous l&rsquo;\u00e9piscopat de Georges d&rsquo;Armagnac, son successeur.<\/p>\n<p>Elle abrite un buste reliquaire de la Ste \u00c9pine &#8211; deux \u00e9pines, certifi\u00e9es de la vraie couronne et rapport\u00e9es de Terre Sainte par G\u00e9raud de Curi\u00e8res et son fr\u00e8re Hugues. Ce reliquaire est promen\u00e9 \u00e0 travers le village, lors de la Procession qui se d\u00e9roule chaque ann\u00e9e le 2\u00e8me dimanche de juillet.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: Confectionn\u00e9 suivant une recette qu&rsquo;elle d\u00e9tient d&rsquo;une grande m\u00e8re de Saint-Saturnin depuis sa plus tendre enfance.<\/p>\n<p>Gigi a investi dans un atelier \u00e0 Saint-Martin de Lenne, route de Saint-Geniez. Elle fabrique ses d\u00e9sormais c\u00e9l\u00e8bres g\u00e2teaux. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, chacun peut venir la voir travailler derri\u00e8re son grand feu de bois et d\u00e9guster ses g\u00e2teaux.<\/p>\n<p>Dans l&rsquo;Aveyron, on peut la trouver&nbsp; \u00e0 plusieurs
