Il est situ\u00e9 dans le d\u00e9partement du Lot en r\u00e9gion Occitanie. Il fait partie du canton de Salviac. Elle fut plusieurs fois restaur\u00e9e. Au XVIII\u00e8me si\u00e8cle une partie fut reconstruite : les bas-c\u00f4t\u00e9s, les contreforts et la fa\u00e7ade principale.<br \/>\nEn octobre 1898 plusieurs raisons pouss\u00e8rent \u00e0 la d\u00e9truire (pas assez grande pour accueillir les paroissiens, fondations instables).<br \/>\nLe d\u00e9but de construction d\u2019une nouvelle \u00e9glise \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cart de la place, commen\u00e7a fin 1898. Apr\u00e8s plusieurs p\u00e9rip\u00e9ties, elle fut partiellement termin\u00e9e en 1901.<br \/>\nCette nouvelle \u00e9glise n\u00e9o-gothique (tendance architecturale mettant \u00e0 l\u2019honneur les formes ogivales et verticales issues du moyen-\u00e2ge gothique) a b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 de la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de certains mat\u00e9riaux (pierres ou bois des charpentes, statues, objets de culte) provenant de l\u2019ancienne \u00e9glise.<br \/>\nEn 2010, un autel et un pupitre furent plac\u00e9s en son ch\u0153ur en harmonie avec l\u2019architecture de l\u2019\u00e9glise et son style n\u00e9o-gothique.
